Is it too many people you follow?

First of all, let’s make sure that your problem is not related to the number of followers. You have reached the maximum number of accounts you can follow (7,500). To begin following new accounts if you experience this issue, you must unfollow your current accounts.

1. Open the Instagram app and tap your profile picture in the lower right corner.

2. Tap the Following button at the top right of the screen.
