Can reported Instagram accounts be deleted?

The only Instagram accounts that will be deleted are those that violate Instagram’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Use. Instagram does not delete all reported accounts. Instagram will only remove a post if it violates Instagram’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. A user’s Instagram account will be deleted only if it repeatedly violates Instagram’s Terms and Conditions. The best way to report an Instagram post is to tap the triple-dot icon at the top-right of the post > Report > It’s Spam/It’s Inappropriate. Accounts that are reported but do not violate Instagram’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Use will not be deleted. In most cases, if a post is reported, it will be reviewed by Instagram’s moderation team. When the post is deleted, you’ll be notified via the notification tab. The account will not be disabled immediately if it’s its first time posting something that violates Instagram’s guidelines. They will instead receive a warning stating that their accounts are at risk of being disabled if they continue to post inappropriate content.
