But considering that several people may have similar names and you may not be able to distinguish which of the proposed accounts is for the person you are looking for, this way may not help you.

How to search Facebook by phone number
Method 1: Find people using the Facebook website
- Go to the Facebook website using a browser and type your username and password to log in to your account.
- Click on the search textbox at the top of your Facebook page and write the number of the person you want there.
- Press the enter button on your keyboard to search. You can write the number in two ways (123) 4567890 or 1234567890. If no result is shown to you, it may be because the account of the person you are looking for is private or has not connected their Facebook account to their phone number.
- Click on the displayed result. This Facebook account is the person you are looking for.
Method 2: Find people using the Facebook app
- Run the Facebook app you have installed on your Android or iOS phone.
- Tap the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen.
- Enter the phone number whose Facebook account you are looking for it.
- Tap on the search icon or the enter button on your keyboard to start the Facebook search.
If it gives you a result, you have succeeded and found that person’s account. If no result is shown to you, there are two situations: either that person has not connected their Facebook to their number, or their account is private.
Tips for searching phone numbers on Facebook
- If the person you are looking for by phone number has set their privacy settings to “friends of friends,” you can only find their account if you have mutual friends.
- You can search for the person’s name with the city where they live to make your search more efficient. If you do not know where that person lives, you can search the area code of their number on the Internet. Now search for the person’s name with the city name on Facebook so that fewer results and closer ones to someone you want to find will be shown to you.
- After you have accessed the account of the person you want by searching for the phone number, you can find their Facebook ID from the URL at the top of the page: www.facebook.com/ID
